Name, registered office and purpose
The association is named “Austrian Slackline Association”, is based in Dornbirn and operates across Europe. It is politically and religiously neutral and is not operated for profit.
Its purpose includes coordinating Austrian slackline clubs, promoting slacklining, supporting athletes, reducing safety risks, organising competitions and education, sharing ISA safety standards, representing the sport and providing relevant information and forms.
Membership and sections
The statutes distinguish ordinary, extraordinary, individual, supporting and honorary members. Individual members may form recognised sections to represent shared regional, sporting or organisational interests.
Association bodies
The association's bodies are the General Assembly, the Executive Board, the President, the auditors and the internal arbitration body. The General Assembly elects the board, approves reports and budgets, decides on amendments to the statutes and may dissolve the association.
Finances and dissolution
The association is financed through membership fees, donations, events, publications, cooperation and sponsorship. Its funds may only be used for the purposes defined in the statutes. In the event of dissolution, remaining assets must be used for charitable sporting purposes.
